WATIYAH 45 married with an 8- and 15-year-old, and she is the eldest child in the family of 7 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to saved up and support her family, and she is from Cilacap, Indonesia.


Education

She graduated from high school, equivalent to Singapore Sec School.



Experience

3 years (2002 - 2005) as a helper in Indonesia

She worked in a 3-storey house with 6-bedrooms and 5-toilets for a family of 9, and she looked after the welfare of a 1- and 4-year-old, together with 3 co-helpers. She does simple housework.

14 days (Oct 2005 - Oct 2005) as a helper in Singapore

She cannot speak English, which caused communication problems, so her employer sent her back to the agency.

1 year 11 months (Oct 2005 - Sep 2007) as a helper in Singapore

She worked in a HDB flat with 3-bedrooms and 2-toilets for a family of 6, and she looked after the welfare of a 4- and 6-year-old. She does cleaning, marketing and cooking with Ahma, and washing clothes. 

11 months (Dec 2007 - Nov 2008) as a helper in Singapore

She worked in a HDB flat with 2-bedrooms and 2-toilets for a family of 5, and she looked after the welfare of a 6- and 7-year-old. She does cleaning, marketing, cooking, washing clothes and car washing. She slept in the kitchen, and she needs to clean another house that belongs to Ahma.

1 year (Dec 2009 - Dec 2010) as a helper in Singapore

She worked in a HDB flat with 2-bedrooms and 2-toilets for a family of 4, and she looked after the welfare of a 2-year-old twins. She does cleaning, marketing and cooking with Ahma, washing clothes, and car washing. She needed to clean three houses. She went back home because her grandmother passed away and because she was required to work in three houses.

1 month (Aug 2014 - Sep 2014) as a helper in Singapore

She worked in a 3-storey bungalow with 7-bedrooms and 7-toilets for a family of 6. She does general housework, washing clothes and took care of 1 big dog, shower, fed and walked the dog twice a day. She worked with 3 co-helpers. 

1 year 10 months (Sep 2014 - Jul 2016) as a helper in Singapore

Returned to her previous employment with same routine. 



Cooking

Daily she prepares basic cooking for the family, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes as well.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her children welfare. In Singapore, she prepared their meals and fed them, dressed and sent them to-and-fro from school, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after elderly. 



Pet Care

She is not afraid of dogs. 



Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage and will contact her family with her own handphone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2 years contract.
