Hazel 40 separated with a 13-, 16-, 17- and 21-year-old, and the 4th child in the family of 5 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support and save up for her family, and she is from Iloilo, Philippines.

Experiences

2 years 8 months (Jul 2023 – Mar 2026) as a caretaker in a nursing home in Malaysia

Hazel looked after the welfare of five patients with dementia, diabetes, hypertension, stroke and bedridden patients. She cleaned and tidied bedrooms and toilets, laundry, changed beddings and bedlinens. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

Returns home, looks after her family welfare and seek new opportunities.



Cooking                       

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. 



Childcare        

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth.



Elderly Care        

She is keen to look after the elderly. In Malaysia, she prepared their meals and fed them via tube, bathed and dressed hem with fresh clothing and diapers, checked and monitored vital signs, such as blood pressure, sugar level, and insulin injection, provided massages, accompanied them for outdoor sunshine and relaxation, administered their vitamins and medications, dressed wounds, changed bed position, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Pet Care        

She is keen to look after pets. 



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
