Experiences

4 years 1 month (Sep 2016 – Oct 2020) as a helper in Malaysia 

Rosemarie worked in a 3-storey house with 5-bedrooms, 5-toilets, 2-living room and a kitchen for a Chinese family of 6 with a 92-year-old with heart problem and hypertension, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car, tend to garden and plant watering.

(Nov 2020 – Jul 2021)    

Returned home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in Oman.

4 years (Aug 2021 – Aug 2025) as a helper in Oman 

Rosemarie worked in a 3-storey house with 5-bedrooms, 6-toilets, 2-living room and a kitchen for an Arabian family of 6 with a newborn, 1- and 3-year-old, and she looked after their welfare, together with a part-time cook. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences. 

(Sep 2025 – present)    

Returns home, looks after her family welfare and seek new opportunities.


Cooking                       

She cooks Filipino and Chinese dishes, keen to learn to cook more Chinese and various other dishes. 



Childcare        

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In Oman, she prepared their milk and meals, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed with fresh clothing and diapers, administered their vitamins and medications, kept company and soothed them to sleep, dressed and get them ready for school, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care        

She is keen to look after the elderly. In Malaysia, she prepared her meals and fed her, bathed and dressed her with fresh clothing and diapers, administered her vitamins and medications, accompanied her outdoor for medical check-ups and outdoor activities, attended to and assisted in her needs.



Pet Care        

She is keen to look after pets. In Malaysia, she groomed and fed a small dog, kept clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
