Sheryl 39 married with a 7-, 12- and 17-year-old, and the eldest child in the family of 3 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support and save up for her family, and she is from Bataan, Philippines.

Experiences

2 years 1 month (Mar 2023 – Apr 2025) as a helper in United Arab Emirates 

Sheryl worked in a 2-storey house with 4-bedrooms, 4-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 4 with a newborn and 2-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, marketing, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

(May 2025 – present)

Returns home, looks after her family welfare and currently, works as sewer in the Philippines.


Cooking                       

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. 



Childcare        

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In UAE, she prepared their milk and fed them, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed them with fresh clothing and diapers, administered their vitamins and medications, kept company and played with them, dressed and sent to school, accompanied during night hours, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care            

She is keen to look after the elderly.     



Pet Care        

She is keen to look after pets. 



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
