2 years (2000 – 2002) as helper cum working student for her aunt in the Philippines

Windalyn worked in a flat with 2-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a family of 5 with a 4- and 6-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

Stayed home, continued her studies, looked after her children welfare and seek new work opportunities.

3 months (Apr 2023 – Jul 2023) as part-time helper for her neighbor in the Philippines

Windalyn worked in a flat with single bedroom, toilet, living room and kitchen for a family of 3 with a 57-year-old diabetic female, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new experiences and culture.   

(Aug 2023 – present)

Stays home, looks after her family welfare and currently, works as a Barangay Health Worker in the Philippines.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as adobo, sinigang, tinola, paksiw etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her local experience, she prepared their meals and fed them, bathed, dressed and sent them to-and-fro from school, kept company and soothed them to sleep, assisted and supervised their schoolwork, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly / Patient Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her local experience, she prepared her meals, administered her medications, accompanied her outdoor for medical check-ups, provided comfort and companion, cleaned and dressed wounds, attended to and assisted in her needs.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets and back home, she grooms and feed two Aspin, keep clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
