Aira 24 separated with a 4-year-old, and the eldest child in the family of 3 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support and save up for her family and daughter, and she is from Iloilo, Philippines.

Academic Qualifications

She graduated from high school, equivalent to Spore’s Sec School.



Experiences

Aira is inexperienced as helper, but she is keen to learn. As a mother, she looks after her daughter’s welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook family meals, laundry, ironing and folding. For her future employment, she hopes to learn new culture and experiences.



Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as adobo etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. 



Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her niece and own since birth. She prepares their milk and meals, bathe and change them with fresh clothing and diapers, watch over their playing and safety, sing lullabies and soothe them to sleep or nap, dress and get them ready for school, attend to and assist in their daily needs. 



Elderly/ Patient Care

She is keen to look after the mobile elderly, and she looked after her 22-year-old brother with cancer before he passed on. She prepared his meals and fed him, assisted to bathe and dressed with fresh clothing, administered his medications, attended to and assisted in his needs.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Aira is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
