Irene looked after the welfare of a 75-year-old female with Alzheimer’s disease. 

(Oct 2020 – Dec 2020)

Stayed home, spent time with her family and seek new opportunities. 

3 years 4 months (Jan 2021 – May 2024) as a caregiver in the Philippines 

Irene looked after the welfare of a 78-year-old bedridden female with Parkinson’s disease fed via Peg tube, and 85-year-old male with dementia and COPD.

Stayed home, spent time with her family and seek new opportunities.

Irene looked after the welfare of a 78-year-old female with dementia and hip fracture (right side), cleaned and tidied her bedrooms, changed bedlinens. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences. 


Cooking                       

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. 



Childcare    

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. 



Elderly Care    

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her caregiving experience, she prepared their meals and fed them, assisted to bathe and dressed them with fresh clothing and diapers, administered their medications, accompanied them for exercise, therapy and medical check-ups, transferred from bed to wheelchair and vice versa, checked and monitored vital signs, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Pet Care    

She is keen to look after pets.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

As a caregiver, her main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Irene is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
