Klien Benedict worked in a bungalow with 3-bedrooms and 2-toilets for a family of 5 with a 69-year-old bedridden diabetic male, a stroke patient with hypertension, and he looked after his welfare, together with a co-caregiver. In all these, he managed the work well. For his future employment, he hopes to widen his experience to be a better caregiver.

Cooking                   

He cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. 



Elderly Care

He is keen to look after the elderly. In his caregiving experience, he prepared his meals and fed him, bathed and changed him with fresh clothing and diapers, administered his medications, provided perineal and emotional care, transferred from bed to wheelchair and vice versa, accompanied him to physical therapy, checked and monitored vital signs, such as blood pressure, sugar and oxygen level, attended to and assisted in his needs. 



Hand phone

He will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, he will contact his family using his own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

He is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

As a caregiver, his main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Klien Benedict is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
