Experiences

Romela is inexperience as a helper, but she is keen to learn. As a mother, she looked after her newborn child until she was 3 years old. She fed her, bathed her, washed and sterilized her feeding bottles, and put her to sleep. She also knows how to handle tantrums and manage a toddler’s behaviour.

She is also a hands-on aunt to her niece and nephews. She cared for them from newborn until they reached 6 and 4 years old. Living in the same house, she looked after them whenever their parents were away at work. She fed them, bathed them, put them to sleep, read them stories, and attended to their daily needs.

For her future employment, she hopes to learn new culture and experiences.


Cooking                 

Daily she prepares basic cooking for the family, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes as well.


Infant care

She is keen to look after infants and has hands-on experience caring for her own child.


Childcare

She is keen to look after children and has experience caring for her nieces and nephews, as they lived under the same roof. She cared for them with the same love and attention she gives to her own child.


Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.


Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.


Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.


2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
