Zarifa worked in a bungalow with 2-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a family of 3 with a 96 -year-old bedridden blind female, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, tend to garden and plant watering.

Stayed home, looked after her daughter’s welfare and applied to work in Malaysia.

2 years (Mar 2023 - Mar 2025) as a helper in Malaysia

Zarifa worked in a bungalow with 6-bedrooms, 4-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 3 with an 85-year-old female, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car.

2 months (Apr 2025 - Jun 2025) as on-shift caregiver in the Philippines

Zarifa looked after the welfare of a 90-year-old bedridden asthmatic female with hypertension and bone fracture, fed via NGT, together with 5 co-caregivers. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

(Jul 2025 - present)

Stays home, looks after her daughter’s welfare and seek new job opportunities. 



Cooking

She cooks Filipino, simple Chinese and Western dishes, keen to learn to cook more Chinese and various other dishes.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after elderly. In her previous experience, she prepared their meals, bathed and dressed them with fresh clothing and diapers, accompanied them for outdoor relaxation and medical check-ups, transferred from bed to rocking chair and vice versa, provided massages, changed bed positions, checked and monitored vital signs, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly. Any other off-day arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2 years contract.
