Experiences

1 year (2016 – 2017) as a helper in Cebu, Philippines.

Charie worked in a 2-storey house with 2-bedrooms and a toilet for a family of 4 with a 5- and 10-year-old, and she assisted to look after their welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house and backyard, prepare and cook for the children, laundry, ironing and folding. 

(2018 – 2025)

Stayed home, worked as service crew at Jollibee Corporation for more than 2 years, and seek new work opportunities.

(Apr 2025 – present) as a nanny in the Philippines.

Charie looks after her 3-year-old nephew with special needs. She feed him, bathed and dress him with fresh clothing, accompany him for outdoor activities, keep company and soothe him to sleep. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences. 


Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. 



Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants. In her local experience, she prepared their meals, assisted and supervised their schoolwork, kept company and played with them, maintained cleanliness and hygiene, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. 



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
