SOPIYANTI 30 married with a 3- and 9-year-old, and the eldest child in the family of 4 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support and save up for her family.


Academic Qualifications

She graduated from high school, equivalent to Spore’s Sec School.



Experiences

1 year (2018 - 2019) as a helper in Brunei

She worked in a 2-storey house with 5 bedrooms and 5 toilets for a Chinese family of 6. She looked after the welfare of a 90-year-old Ahkong. Her daily duties included cleaning, cooking, and washing clothes. When the employer bought five big dogs, she became scared and requested to go home.

3 years 2 months (2019 - 2023) as a helper in Malaysia

She worked in a 2-storey house with 4-bedrooms and 4-toilets for a Chinese family of 4, and she looked after the welfare of a 2- and 5-year-old. Daily she does cleaning, washing clothes.



Cooking                   

She cooks Indonesian dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.


Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her children welfare. In Malaysia, she prepared meals and fed them, dressed and pick up from school, attended to and assisted in their needs.


Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In Brunei, she prepared his meals, accompanied him for outdoor activities via wheelchair/ walking stick, attended to and assisted in his needs.


Pet Care

She is okay to take care of small dogs.


Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.


Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.


2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
