Cherry 33 separated with a 14- and 15-year-old, and the 2nd child in the family of 4 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support and save up for her family, and she is from Quezon Province, Philippines.

She graduated from high school, equivalent to Spore’s Sec School,  and possess an NCII certificate in Caregiving.   



Experiences

10 months (Jan 2018 – Nov 2018) as a caregiver in the Philippines

Cherry looked after the welfare of an 87-year-old female with dementia, cleans and tidy the patient’s bedroom, prepare and cook her meals.  

(Dec 2018 – Jul 2019)

Stayed home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in Singapore.

4 years (Aug 2019 – Aug 2023) as a helper in Singapore

Cherry worked in a HDB flat with 2-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a 93-year-old female, a wheelchair-bound patient with dementia. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

(Sep 2023 – Sep 2024)

Returned home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in Singapore.

4 months (Oct 2024 – Feb 2025) as a helper in the Philippines

Cherry worked in a HDB flat with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for an elderly couple with an 87-year-old diabetic female, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, marketing, prepare and cook for the couple, laundry, ironing and folding.

(Feb 2025 – present)

Cherry looked after the welfare of mid-70’s diabetic female with Parkinson’s disease. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better helper.   


Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino and Chinese dishes such as sweet and sour pork, steamed fish, stir-fried veggies etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.


Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. 



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her previous experience, she prepared their meals and fed them, assisted to bathe and changed them with fresh clothing and diapers, maintained cleanliness and hygiene, administered their medications and insulin, watched over their safety, accompanied them outdoor for medical check-ups and strolls, transferred from bed to wheelchair and vice versa, attended to and assisted in their needs.


Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. 


Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.


Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.


2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
