Lyca Ellen Joy worked in a 2-storey landed property with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room, garden, garage and kitchen for a family of 4 with a 6- and 9-year-old, together with a co-helper. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean beddings and curtains. In all these, she learned to manage her work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

Stays home, looks after her family welfare and currently, works as online seller.        



Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as adobo, pinakbet etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.


Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her local experience, she prepared their meals, dressed and get them ready for school, attended to and assisted in their needs.


Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly, and she looks after her 86-year-old grandmother. She prepares her meals, bathe her, administer her medications, accompany her outdoor for sunshine, relaxation and strolls, attend to and assist in her needs.


Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. 


Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.


Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.


2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
