Aireen 33 separated with a 12-year-old, and the youngest child in the family of 3 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support and save up for her family, and she is from Aklan, Philippines.

She graduated from high school, equivalent to Spore’s Sec School and possess an NCII certificate in Caregiving.



Experiences

4 years 3 months (Aug 2019 – Nov 2023) as a helper in Singapore

Aireen worked in a HDB flat with 2-bedrooms, a toilet, a living room and kitchen for an 84-year-old female with dementia and hypertension. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores,  laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car. She was also asked to clean and tidy the employer’s son, a 3-bedroom condo with 2-toilets, everyday from 9 am to 6 pm.  In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better caregiver.

Returns home, looks after her child’s welfare and seek new job opportunities.  


Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In Singapore, she prepared her meals, administered her medications, checked and monitored blood pressure level, accompanied her for outdoor stroll and medical check-ups, attended to and assisted in her needs.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

As a caregiver, her main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Aireen is mature and ready to take on new challenge. We believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family. We trust you can consider her and give Aireen an opportunity in patient’s care.
