Experience

2 years (2017 - 2019) as a helper in Jakarta, Indonesia.

She worked in a 3-storey house with 4-bedrooms and 4-toilets for a family of 3 with a 4-year-old child, and she looked after the child's welfare. She does general housework, do marketing, cooking and looked after a big dog.

2 years (2019 - 2021) as a helper in Malaysia.

Maryam worked in a 3-bedroom house with 2-toilets for a family of 5 including a female elderly, and she accompany her, assisted with her daily needs, cook for her. She does general housework, do marketing and car washing.



Cooking

She cooks Indonesian dishes, keen to learn to Chinese and various other dishes as well.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children  infants, and she looks after her own. In her previous experience, she prepared milk and meals, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed with fresh clothing and diapers, dressed and get the child ready for school, administered vitamins and medications, attended to and assisted with their daily needs.



Elderly care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In Malaysia, she prepared and cook her meals, accompanied her, attended and assisted with her daily needs.



Petcare

She is keen to look after pets. In her previous experience, she groomed, fed, kept clean the pet area.



Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly. Any other off-day arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2 years contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Maryam is experience and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
