Background

Maria 35 married with a 14-, 13- and 6-years-old, and she's the third child in the family of 4 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support and save up for her family, and she is from Palembang, Indonesia.



Experience

2 years (2013 - 2015) as a helper in Saudi Arabia.

Maria worked in a 3-bedroom house with 3-toilets for a family of 3 with a 3-year-old child, and she looked after the child's welfare. She does general housekeeping and car washing.



Cooking

She cooks Indonesian dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes as well.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her local experience, she prepared milk and meals, sterilized feeding bottles, washed and cleaned up after the child, dressed, soothed the child to sleep, attended to and assisted in the child's needs.



Elderly care

She is keen to look after the elderly.



Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly.

Any other off-day arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2 years contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Maria is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer's needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
